Migraine Monitor does not require a SoftPaw Developer account, login, or registration. SoftPaw Developer does not collect account profiles or passwords through the app.

Advertising data: The app uses Appodeal and its integrated advertising partners to display ads. Their SDKs collect and process your IP address, Android advertising ID (when available), other device identifiers, user or installation identifiers assigned by Appodeal or its partners, device and operating-system information, network information, ad impressions and clicks, and diagnostic, crash, or performance data. The data available to each provider depends on the integrated SDKs, device settings, permissions, and applicable consent choices.

Location and advertising: Migraine Monitor's city-search and weather code does not explicitly pass your device location, the city you select, or that city's coordinates to Appodeal or integrated advertising SDKs. Separately, advertising SDKs run within the app and may independently obtain approximate device location when location permission is granted to the app, subject to device settings and applicable consent choices. Advertising providers may also infer approximate location from your IP address without location permission. See the Third-Party Services section below for their privacy policies.

City search is done by typing a city name - no location access is needed or used for this.

An optional "Find Me" button is available in the city search screen. If you tap it, the app's city-search feature reads your device location once, resolves it to a nearby city name, and pre-fills the search field for you. You still manually confirm the city selection. This feature uses the location fix only for the lookup and does not store the fix. Advertising SDK location processing is described separately above.

Migraine Monitor does not request background location permission. Its periodic weather checks use the coordinates of the city you selected; they do not read your current device location.

If you use the "Find Me" button, the city-search feature requests a one-time location from Android, uses it to identify a nearby city name for you to confirm, and then discards that location fix. SoftPaw Developer does not use this lookup to build advertising profiles.

All periodic weather checks use the coordinates of the city selected for tracking. No location access is involved in these checks.

The app's city-search and weather features use location information to identify a city and retrieve forecasts, as described above; they do not supply that information to advertising SDKs. Appodeal and its integrated advertising partners may independently collect advertising data to deliver and, where permitted by your choices and applicable law, personalize ads, measure impressions and clicks, prevent fraud, and diagnose or improve advertising services.

Your selected city name and coordinates, widget font size, personalized risk-calculation settings, and other app configuration settings are stored locally on your device. City-search and weather requests send information needed for those features. Advertising SDKs make separate network requests and may store data locally and on Appodeal's or its partners' servers under their own retention policies. Clearing local app data does not itself delete data already held by advertising providers; see Your Rights below.

Location coordinates obtained by the "Find Me" city-search feature are used momentarily and are not retained by that feature after the lookup completes. This does not describe data collected separately by advertising SDKs.

The city name and coordinates you choose to track are stored locally on your device and kept until you change them or uninstall the app.

Weather and barometric readings are stored locally for risk calculations and are removed when you clear the app's storage or uninstall Migraine Monitor.

For city search and weather forecasts, the app shares the information needed for those features: one-time coordinates with your device's system geocoder when you choose "Find Me", a city search query with the weather provider to find matching city coordinates, and selected city coordinates with the weather provider to retrieve forecasts.

Appodeal advertising: Advertising data is collected and shared with Appodeal and integrated advertising partners for the purposes described above. Details about their processing, recipients, international transfers, retention, and privacy rights are available in Appodeal's Privacy Policy and the privacy policies of Appodeal's partners. The partner directory covers Appodeal's platform; the providers used in this app depend on its integration and the ads served.

Because the app's stored configuration settings and locally stored weather/risk-calculation data remain on your device, you can control them directly through Android Settings or by uninstalling the app.

Delete local app data: Clear the app's storage in Android Settings, or uninstall Migraine Monitor. This removes the app's locally stored data; it does not delete information already collected by third-party providers.

Revoke location permission: You can remove the app's location access at any time via Android Settings → Apps → Migraine Monitor → Permissions. "Find Me" will no longer have access to your device location, but you can still type a city name and use the previously selected city. Advertising providers may still infer approximate location from your IP address.

Advertising choices: The app integrates Appodeal's consent management platform (CMP), which presents a consent form when required for your region. When privacy options are available for your region, open Settings → Ad Preferences to review or change your consent choices or use the available opt-out controls, including sale/sharing controls where applicable. You can also manage your advertising ID through your device's Android privacy or ads settings. Limiting personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising-related data processing.

SoftPaw Developer does not hold a remote user account or a server copy of your app settings or weather/risk-calculation data. For access, deletion, or other rights concerning data held by Appodeal or its advertising partners, use the contact and request procedures in Appodeal's Privacy Policy and the relevant partner privacy policies.

App Behavior (Migraine Monitor): Migraine Monitor does not create user accounts and does not store account profiles, passwords, or personal identity information on SoftPaw Developer servers. App settings and weather/risk-calculation data, including the selected tracking city and coordinates, are stored locally on your device. When retrieving forecasts, the selected city coordinates are sent to a third-party weather provider to get the weather data. As with any standard HTTP request, this request automatically includes your device's network address (IP address) so the weather server can send the weather data back to your device.

Appodeal Integration: Appodeal and integrated advertising partners process advertising identifiers, IP addresses, technical and ad-interaction data, and location data as described above. Consent and opt-out choices are handled through the integrated CMP where applicable. Advertising data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States; consult Appodeal's and its partners' privacy policies for their transfer safeguards, retention practices, legal bases, and privacy-rights procedures.

Migraine Monitor is not directed to children and is intended for adults. SoftPaw Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). If you believe a child has used the app and data was collected by advertising providers, please contact us at the address below, and use the request procedures in Appodeal's and its partners' privacy policies.

Migraine Monitor uses Android WorkManager and AlarmManager to schedule periodic background checks. These checks retrieve weather and barometric pressure data for the selected tracking city to keep the migraine risk prediction up to date, even when the app is not open.

SoftPaw Developer may update this privacy policy if the app's features or data practices change. Any updates will be posted on this page so you can review the current policy at any time.
