Migraine Monitor environmental risk scores are based on weather patterns and are not a clinical diagnosis.

Migraine Monitor does not require user accounts, login, or registration. No account profile, password, or personal identity information is collected. However, the integrated Google AdMob SDK may collect device identifiers and technical data under Google's own terms to facilitate ad delivery.

City search is done by typing a city name - no location access is needed or used for this.

An optional "Find Me" button is available in the city search screen. If you tap it, the app reads your device location once, resolves it to a nearby city name, and pre-fills the search field for you. You still manually confirm the city selection. The location fix is used only for this lookup and is not stored.

The app does not access your location in the background. Periodic weather checks use only the city coordinates you selected - no location reading happens while the app runs in the background.

If you use the "Find Me" button, the app requests a one-time location from Android, uses it to identify a nearby city name for you to confirm, and then discards the location. Migraine Monitor does not store this location, use it for advertising or profiling, or use it for any other purpose.

All periodic weather checks use the coordinates of the city selected for tracking. No location access is involved in these checks.

The app itself does not share your GPS coordinates or selected city coordinates with Google AdMob. However, Google AdMob may determine your general geographic location using their own tools to deliver localized ads.

Data saved by the app, such as your selected city name, selected city coordinates, widget font size, personalized risk-calculation settings, and other app configuration settings, is kept locally on your device. Network requests send only the information needed to provide app features, such as city search and weather forecast retrieval.

Location coordinates from the "Find Me" button are used momentarily and not stored after the city lookup completes.

The city name and coordinates you choose to track are stored locally on your device and kept until you change them or uninstall the app.

Weather and barometric readings are stored locally for risk calculations and are removed when you clear the app's storage or uninstall Migraine Monitor.

SoftPaw Developer does not sell, rent, or trade your location or personal data. The app only shares data required for its core features: city search queries and weather data fetches. Specifically: one-time coordinates are sent to your device's system geocoder service to resolve coordinates to a city name if you choose to use the "Find Me" function; the selected city name is sent to a third-party weather service provider to find matching city coordinates; and those coordinates are then sent to the weather provider to retrieve weather data. Separately, the integrated Google AdMob module may collect technical data and approximate location for advertising purposes under Google's own terms.

Because the app's stored configuration settings and locally stored weather/risk-calculation data remain on your device, you can control them directly through Android Settings or by uninstalling the app.

Delete all data: Clear the app's storage in Android Settings, or uninstall Migraine Monitor. Both actions permanently remove everything the app has stored.

Revoke location permission: You can remove the app's location access at any time via Android Settings → Apps → Migraine Monitor → Permissions. The city-search feature will no longer work, but previously selected data remains available.

Because your app settings and locally stored weather/risk-calculation data are kept on your device and never stored on SoftPaw Developer's servers, there is no remote account data to request, export, or erase. For data collected by AdMob, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

App Behavior (Migraine Monitor): Migraine Monitor does not create user accounts and does not store account profiles, passwords, or personal identity information on SoftPaw Developer servers. App settings and weather/risk-calculation data, including the selected tracking city and coordinates, are stored locally on your device. When retrieving forecasts, the selected city coordinates are sent to a third-party weather provider to get the weather data. As with any standard HTTP request, this request automatically includes your device's network address (IP address) so the weather server can send the weather data back to your device.

AdMob Integration: Separately, the built-in Google AdMob module operates inside the app to show advertisements. AdMob collects its own technical data, device identifiers, and approximate location (IP-based) to serve and measure ads. This data is handled according to Google's own privacy terms, which SoftPaw Developer has no access to or control over.

Migraine Monitor uses Android WorkManager and AlarmManager to schedule periodic background checks. These checks retrieve weather and barometric pressure data for the selected tracking city to keep the migraine risk prediction up to date, even when the app is not open.

SoftPaw Developer may update this privacy policy if the app's features or data practices change. Any updates will be posted on this page so you can review the current policy at any time.
